The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Joukahainen looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Sage shoots in looking for a takedown but Joukahainen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sage's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Joukahainen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Sage shoots in for a double leg but Joukahainen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Joukahainen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sage tries to clinch there but Joukahainen circles away.
Sage looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It seemed like Joukahainen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Sage tries to close the distance and clinch but Joukahainen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It seemed like Joukahainen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sage fails with a takedown attempt.
