PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Angle (ranked 4275 p4p, 5571 weight class) and Luguentz Hoffman (ranked 359 p4p, 407 weight class). Luguentz Hoffman struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Luguentz Hoffman looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luguentz Hoffman !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoffman gets caught napping as Angle dives in and scores a takedown. Hoffman manages to retain guard.

Angle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Angle's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Angle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
