Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Watson Hargreaves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carson Fairburn!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairburn slips under a jab from Hargreaves.
Fairburn with the counter takedown but Hargreaves avoids it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fairburn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Hargreaves moves into the clinch.
Hargreaves is stalling here.
Fairburn misses with a punch on the inside.
Hargreaves missing with knees to the body.
Hargreaves manages to break the clinch.
Fairburn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fairburn shoots for a double leg takedown but Hargreaves sprawls well. He's pushed Fairburn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hargreaves moves into the clinch.
Hargreaves missing with knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hargreaves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fairburn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hargreaves counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hargreaves throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fairburn's head.
Hargreaves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hargreaves has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hargreaves is looking for a takedown.
Hargreaves manages to break the clinch.
Fairburn shoots in for a double leg but Hargreaves sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hargreaves half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Watson Hargreaves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carson Fairburn.
Hargreaves moves into the clinch.
Hargreaves lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fairburn tries to work over Hargreaves's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hargreaves is pushing Fairburn up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Fairburn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hargreaves is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hargreaves scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hargreaves lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fairburn backwards.
Hargreaves breaks from the clinch.
Fairburn takes one on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hargreaves.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fairburn takes one to the side of the head.
Hargreaves cracks Fairburn with a right hand to the side of the head.
A jab from Hargreaves finds it's way through Fairburn's defenses.
Fairburn is rocked!
Fairburn needs to keep his hands up - Hargreaves had a free shot at his head there.
Fairburn is still on wobbly legs! Can Hargreaves finish him?
BOOM! Hargreaves lands a beautiful left hook that drops Fairburn. Fairburn tries to recover but Hargreaves is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Fairburn lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
