Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Catch Wrestler (ranked 774 p4p, 821 weight class) and Ed Ford (ranked 80 p4p, 87 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ford's choice of entrance music: Trivium - Strife . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Bjj Catch Wrestler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ed Ford!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Ford counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ford has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Catch Wrestler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Catch Wrestler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ford tries to avoid it but Catch Wrestler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ford to the ground. Ford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Ford has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
