Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Grapples (ranked 4180 p4p, 4233 weight class) and Harold Feeny (ranked 542 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Grapples!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harold Feeny!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grapples scores with a takedown into Feeny's guard.
Feeny is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Feeny really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grapples. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grapples is working Feeny over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Grapples won't allow Feeny to sweep him here.
Feeny thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Grapples wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Feeny, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Grapples wants to lay and pray for a moment but Feeny keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Feeny tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Feeny takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Grapples is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Feeny knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Feeny is not content to let Grapples control the position.
Feeny trying to control but Grapples flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Grapples is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Feeny has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Feeny looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Feeny might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Grapples haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Grapples is hanging on to Feeny's back as he tries to escape.
Feeny is keeping busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Grapples fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Feeny avoids it really well and circles away.

Feeny shoots in looking for a takedown but Grapples manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Feeny's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Grapples drops down looking for a counter takedown but Feeny sprawls and moves away.
Feeny tries to clinch but Grapples moves out of range.

Feeny closes the distance and pushes Grapples back into the cage.

Feeny wants to take the fight to the mat but Grapples manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Feeny is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Grapples is defending well.
The referee is keeping an eye on Grapples - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Feeny tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Grapples tries to pull guard but Feeny won't allow it.
Feeny misses with a punch on the inside.
Feeny jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grapples walks away with a smile on his face. Feeny gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Grapples is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Feeny can do to turn this around?
Feeny shoots in but no luck this time.
Grapples looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Grapples shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Feeny tries to kick Grapples off in order to stand up. Grapples Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

A bit of a lull in the action here.
Feeny is working to avoid the ground and pound but Grapples connects with a decent elbow.
Feeny takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Grapples wants to control but Feeny is keeping him busy.
Feeny wants to get back to his feet but Grapples is dominant here and he's now got Feeny's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Grapples gets his hands free as Feeny looks to control.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Feeny wants to improve his position here. There's a bit of a scramble and Grapples has taken Feeny's back! He's locked on a rear naked choke here and Feeny has been forced to tap!
