Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Horo (ranked 3180 p4p, 3575 weight class) and Thomas Hill (ranked 365 p4p, 412 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dan Horo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dan Horo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill takes one on the button.

It looks like Thomas Hill has been cut.
Hill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horo fails to land with a series of punches.
Horo moves out of range of the strikes.
Hill just misses with a punch to the body.
Horo throws a body shot but no joy.
Hill doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
A slow jab from Horo misses its intended target.
Horo tries to clinch there but Hill circles away.

Hill has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Horo lands a nice hook to Hill's body. Hill takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Hill clobbers Horo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Hill has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Horo lands with a hook. Hill tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Horo is just out of range.

Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Horo manages to avoid it.
Horo is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hill.

Hill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horo moves away.
Horo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hill uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Horo missing with a left hand there. Hill was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A little jabbing left from Hill on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Horo catches Hill with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Hill throws a jab but it's blocked by Horo.
Horo misses with an uppercut. Hill saw that one coming.
Hill lands with an uppercut that bounces Horo off the cage and back into range.
Hill loads up on a big right hand but Horo slips the punch.
Horo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hill misses with a looping left.
Horo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hill.
Hill lands with a nice body punch.
Hill throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Horo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Horo throws a hook to the side of Hill's head but Hill sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A swing and a miss from Hill.
Thomas Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horo misses with a wild body shot.
Hill lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Horo is just out of range.
Horo throws a series of punches but Hill avoids them all with ease.
Horo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hill looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hill is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Horo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

The crowd cheers as Hill lands an impressive looking overhand right. Horo doesn't seem phased though.
A lazy left from Horo finds it's target.
Horo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hill manages to avoid it.
Hill showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Horo.
Hill drops Horo with a naaaaasty hook - Horo is in real trouble here! Hill dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
