Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Farto Fuerte (ranked 22251 p4p, 21814 weight class) and Ross Buchanan (ranked 420 p4p, 449 weight class). Buchanan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Roy Buchanan's Train Blues kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ross Buchanan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Farto Fuerte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 43 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ross Buchanan!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchanan throws a sloppy body shot
and Fuerte cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Ross Buchanan has been cut.
Buchanan misses with a body shot
and Buchanan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fuerte keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Fuerte moves out of range as Buchanan throws a body kick.
Fuerte throws a big counter combination but Buchanan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Buchanan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fuerte.
Buchanan throws a sloppy head kick
and Fuerte counters with a left and a right that stings Buchanan.
Fuerte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Buchanan throws the left hand but Fuerte avoids the punch easily.
Fuerte is looking for a counter combo.
Buchanan throws a head kick that misses
and Fuerte counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Buchanan on his ass! Buchanan wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A little feinted left hand from Fuerte on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Buchanan misses with a leg kick
and Fuerte counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Buchanan looks to land a combination but Fuerte avoids it well.
Ross Buchanan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buchanan throws a lazy uppercut
and Fuerte counters with a good low kick that Buchanan was not able to check.
Buchanan misses with a right hand
and Fuerte counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Buchanan to the mat! Fuerte runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Buchanan is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!

Buchanan throws a poor cross that misses
and Fuerte counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Buchanan off his feet! Buchanan crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Buchanan isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Fuerte screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Farto Fuerte!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Farto Fuerte waved his t-shirt featuring Warrior's Way's logo in front of the cameras.
