Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Balink Tarlah (ranked 1648 p4p, 1376 weight class) and Theodore Holmstrom (ranked 224 p4p, 184 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Theodore Holmstrom!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarlah misses with a jab to the body
and Tarlah takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Holmstrom misses with a hook. Tarlah ducked under it nicely.
Tarlah tries to counter with a takedown but Holmstrom is quick to defend against it.
Tarlah throws a predictable looking body shot
and Holmstrom counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Holmstrom gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tarlah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tarlah stops Holmstrom from standing up.
Tarlah keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Holmstrom's head.
Holmstrom is looking to stand up but Tarlah isn't so interested in that idea.
Tarlah has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tarlah is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tarlah's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tarlah chips away with some ground and pound.
Tarlah is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Tarlah slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tarlah lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Holmstrom is still in real trouble! Can Tarlah finish him?
Tarlah loads up on a big left hand. Holmstrom felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tarlah looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Holmstrom can't hide his disappointment, as Tarlah celebrates the victory.
