Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joseph OByrne (ranked 18105 p4p, 2295 weight class) and Diego Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Joseph OByrne has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joseph OByrne seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
OByrne has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gorilla Gym in the buildup to the fight.
OByrne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
OByrne throws a lazy right hand but Escobar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
OByrne keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

OByrne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Escobar was well out of range. Poor timing from OByrne.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Escobar shoots in looking for a takedown. OByrne tries to sprawl out of it but Escobar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OByrne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Escobar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as OByrne throws out the jab.

Escobar cracks OByrne with a left hook right on the temple and OByrne goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Escobar lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully OByrne is OK!
