Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taistelu Jaska (ranked 4422 p4p, 4241 weight class) and Chad Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaska comes to the cage accompanied by Taistelu Jaska Theme from youtube. Taistelu Jaska has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Smith!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jaska.
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Jaska avoids it.
Jaska walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Smith dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jaska on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smith throws a right and a left that Jaska avoids nicely.
Smith throws a body kick that misses.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Smith is looking to land body kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jaska.
Despite the aggression on Smith's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Smith.
Smith walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jaska checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jaska.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Taistelu Jaska. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith scoring well with a low kick there.
Nice body kick from Smith.
Smith scores with a jab to the body.
Jaska definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jaska tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and Jaska ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Jaska is breathing heavily.
Smith is looking to break free of the clinch but Jaska has double underhooks.
Smith wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jaska decides to pull guard.
Smith trying to control but Jaska is working from the bottom.
Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Jaska gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Smith has his foot on Jaska's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jaska works his way back into a safe position though.
Smith looking to control.
Smith wants to sweep here but Jaska controlling him for the moment.
Jaska stands and throws Smith's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jaska controls the position.
Jaska cracks Smith with a big right hand but Smith just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Smith is looking to reverse the position.
Jaska is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Smith's shoulder. That is not cool.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jaska seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Smith for as long as he can get away with.
Smith tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Smith's face as Jaska controls the position.
Jaska has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jaska tries to advance to mount but can't.

Smith is looking for a sweep.
Jaska thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Smith parries the strikes from Jaska easily there. Jaska is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Smith to escape.
Jaska controls the position.
Smith is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jaska's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Jaska! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Smith has tapped! This one is allllll over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Taistelu Jaska!
Taistelu Jaska tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
