Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garpy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Garpy misses with a takedown
and Lato counters with a stiff right hand.
Garpy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lato defends it nicely.
A quick step to the side and Lato tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ines Lato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafa Garpy.

and Lato counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Garpy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lato to score with a decent uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lato. Garpy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garpy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lato was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed right hand from Lato misses the target.

Garpy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lato did well to prevent Garpy getting side control.
Lato is looking to escape.

Garpy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Garpy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lato sees it coming and defends easily.

Garpy maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lato could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Garpy has cracked it and Lato is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Garpy!
