Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reggie Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donny Jay!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Francis DeMontford and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A head kick misses from Barnes.

enabling Jay to counter with a crisp jab.
Barnes lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jay jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Barnes connects with a looping right hand.
Jay looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Barnes tries to land a leg kick but Jay saw it coming and moves away.
Jay flicks out a counter leg kick but Barnes steps away.
Barnes throws a right hand that Jay ducks under and follows up with a left that Jay also avoids with ease.
Barnes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Barnes lands a leg kick that knocks Jay off balance momentarily.
Barnes has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Jay attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Barnes misses with a leg kick.
Jay misses with a wild body shot.
Jay throws out a leg kick but Barnes moves out of range and Jay only half commits.
Jay paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barnes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Barnes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jay circles away quickly and effectively.
Barnes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Barnes throws a body punch but Jay moves out of range.
Barnes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Barnes takes one to the chin there.
Barnes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Barnes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Barnes throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barnes misses the shot to the body.
A little jabbing left from Jay on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jay slips under a jab.
Jay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barnes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reggie Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Barnes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Barnes is rocked!
Jay lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Barnes up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Jay from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Barnes's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
