Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jake Demuss (ranked 21703 p4p, 24630 weight class) and Zander Ford (ranked 684 p4p, 677 weight class). Demuss comes to the ring accompanied by Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ford's choice of entrance music: THE KING IS HERE. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford walks into a straight right hand from Demuss.
Demuss blocks a head kick by Ford.
Nice straight punches there by Demuss. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Demuss.
Ford rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Demuss counters with a straight right hand.
Nice body punch from Demuss.
Demuss misses with a kick to the body.
Demuss getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
A lazy left from Demuss finds it's target.
Ford connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Demuss throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Ford looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ford looks to score with a jab to the body but Demuss is just out of range.
Demuss is looking for a counter combo.
Nice uppercut lands for Demuss. That snapped Ford's head back.
A slapping body kick lands there for Demuss.
Ford on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Demuss cracks Ford with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Ford get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Ford looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

It looks like Zander Ford has been cut.
Demuss paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ford drops his hands momentarily and Demuss needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ford just on the top of the head. Ford drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ford - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jake Demuss!
