Petrov has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Thufir Hawat is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hawat bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Petrov's head.
Petrov avoids a kick to the body.
Petrov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Petrov is rocked!
Petrov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hawat counters with a nice right hand that sends Petrov toppling to the canvas! Petrov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hawat finish him?!
Oh Petrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hawat lands a jab to Petrov's midsection.
Petrov is breathing heavily.
Hawat fakes the body blow, causing Petrov to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Petrov goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
