PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arles Aloevera (ranked 5554 p4p, 5468 weight class) and Pamby Plamblit (ranked 210 p4p, 207 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pamby Plamblit was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plamblit stalks Aloevera and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aloevera's face. Aloevera staggers backwards, shaken.
Plamblit misses with a kick to the body.
Aloevera dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Plamblit clinches up against the cage.
Plamblit is trying to push Aloevera away but Aloevera has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Aloevera manages to break the clinch.
Aloevera works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Aloevera closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Plamblit quickly recovers to half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Aloevera connects with a nice short shot to Plamblit's temple.

Aloevera seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Plamblit for as long as he can get away with.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aloevera, as that shot connected.

Plamblit connects with a right hand. Aloevera shakes it off.

Plamblit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aloevera moves away.
Aloevera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Plamblit flicks out a counter leg kick but Aloevera steps away.
Aloevera throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Plamblit's head.

Plamblit rushes Aloevera and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Plamblit gets underhooks to prevent Aloevera's takedown attempt.

Aloevera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Plamblit gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Aloevera throws a nice inside leg kick.
Aloevera connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Aloevera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Plamblit, pushing him back against the cage.

Aloevera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aloevera just misses with a punch to the body.
Plamblit takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Well Aloevera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
