Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Destin Craven (ranked 820 p4p, 1606 weight class) and Aleksi Heimo (ranked 50 p4p, 93 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Destin Craven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksi Heimo!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craven misses with a wild body shot.
Heimo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Craven misses with a looping left.
Craven throws a looping overhand right but Heimo ducks down to avoid it.
Craven lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The fighters circling - Craven throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Craven misses with a series of wild punches.
Craven misses with a few strikes there.
Heimo lands with a hook. Craven tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Heimo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Craven manages to avoid it.
A lazy left from Heimo finds it's target.
Craven slips under a jab.
Heimo loads up on a big right hand but Craven slips the punch.
Craven looks for a takedown but Heimo sprawls well.
Heimo lands a jab to the nose.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heimo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Craven looks to land a body kick but Heimo moved away.
Craven scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Craven keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Heimo.
We've been hearing reports that Craven has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Heimo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Craven manages to avoid it.

And Heimo responds with a good body kick, but Craven manages to step out the way in time.

Heimo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Craven swings widly with a right hand
and Heimo counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Heimo. Craven does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Craven was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A punch combination from Craven misses.
Heimo misses the shot to the body.
The crowd cheers as Heimo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Craven doesn't seem phased though.
Craven is rocked!
Heimo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oh Craven is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Craven jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Heimo closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Craven! Heimo dives in looking to finish! Craven is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Aleksi Heimo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
