The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Amir lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kocak has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kocak and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Amir lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ali Amir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Amir drops Kocak with a beautiful combination! Kocak stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Amir is looking for the KO!

It looks like Demir Kocak has been cut.
Amir fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kocak.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That has opened up Ali Amir's cut even more.

Amir scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Kocak misses with a hook. Amir ducked under it nicely.

Kocak thuds his right hand into Amir's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Amir digs a good hook to Kocak's body.
Kocak chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Amir can pounce on him.
Amir takes a swing at Kocak's ribcage but misses.
Amir lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Amir will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Kocak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Amir moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kocak sets himself, and Amir steps forward looking for the clinch! Kocak avoids it this time.
Kocak stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Amir.
Some bone on bone action there as Kocak checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Kocak with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Amir to score with a decent uppercut.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Amir comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Amir Throws a clean left jab. Amir Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Kocak's chin! Kocak crumbles to the ground and Amir follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Amir!
