Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bulla Marden (ranked 1703 p4p, 1784 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 227 p4p, 238 weight class). Stephen Hawking is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bulla Marden!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Hawking!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marden is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hawking sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hawking now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Hawking stuffs the takedown attempt from Marden. Marden gets slowly back to his feet.

Marden throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hawking tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Marden is in Hawking's guard.

Marden tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marden has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hawking looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hawking changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hawking comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Marden takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Hawking drops Marden with a beautiful combination! Marden stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hawking is looking for the KO!

Marden is rocked!

It looks like Bulla Marden has been cut.
Hawking ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oh Marden is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice body punch from Hawking.
Hawking throws a hook but Marden avoids it easily.
Marden feinted with a counter takedown.
Hawking steps in with a hook that catches Marden right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Hawking follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Marden looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephen Hawking!
