Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 550 p4p, 1413 weight class) and Dan Dinklage (ranked 75 p4p, 196 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Dinklage!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinklage throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Case makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dinklage has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Case throws a lazy right hand but Dinklage sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Case stuns Dinklage with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Dinklage circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dinklage throws out a counter right but Case avoids it with no problem.
Case throws a looping overhand right but Dinklage ducks down to avoid it.
Dinklage tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Nice defenses there by Dinklage.
Dinklage tries to clinch but Case moves out of range.

and Case counters with a straight right hand.
Dinklage ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Case catches Dinklage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Case lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Case connects with a body shot that sends Dinklage's belly button to the back.

Dinklage dives in and scores a takedown into Case's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Case pulls Dinklage in close to his closed guard and prevents Dinklage from doing any damage or advancing position.

Case utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dinklage is working Case over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dinklage controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Dinklage throws out a loose jab but Case uses good head movement to avoid it.
Case dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Case misses with a left hand

and Dinklage counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Case avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dinklage.
Dinklage tries to pass to full mount but Case defends it.
Case on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Case tries to get out of the position.
Dinklage wants to take a breather but Case is having none of it.
Case looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dinklage drops an elbow to the side of Case's head.

It looks like Justin Case has been cut.
Case is not content to let Dinklage control the position.

Dinklage throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Case is trying to get back to full guard.
Well, if Dinklage is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Case lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dinklage at a distance.

Case works the jab nicely.

Case is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Case lands a glancing blow to the side of Dinklage's head.
Dinklage fails with the takedown.
Dinklage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Case.
Case looks to land a left hand but Dinklage moved out of range nicely.
Case avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Case lands a nice hook to Dinklage's body. Dinklage takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The fighters circling - Case throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Dinklage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Case's guard.
Dinklage postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Case is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
