Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yoel Romero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Euan Ainsley!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ainsley lands a jab to the head.
Yoel Romero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romero tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ainsley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Romero somewhat.
Romero closes the distance and clinches up with Ainsley, looking for a takedown. Romero pushes Ainsley against the cage but Ainsley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Romero with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoel Romero. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ainsley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romero.
A nice side step and Ainsley releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romero walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Romero dives in and scores a takedown into Ainsley's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Romero is pushing down on Ainsley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ainsley is fighting to maintain full guard but Romero has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ainsley keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Romero drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Ainsley sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Romero's defenses. It connects perfectly with Romero's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
