The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dawkins follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Ricci tries to clinch up.
Dawkins throws a big counter head kick but Ricci avoids it with no problem.
Dawkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ricci moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ricci is looking to counter the offense by Dawkins and move into the clinch.

Ricci moves into the clinch.
Ricci is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dawkins to keep the fight standing.

Ricci manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Dawkins wants to stand but Ricci has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Dawkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ricci. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ricci looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dawkins is defending well. Ricci quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dawkins has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ricci celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
