And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Mason Island!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gerbandi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gerbandi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Island tries to avoid it but Gerbandi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Island to the ground. Island escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
