Araujo moves into the clinch.
Gaul has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Araujo regains guard immediately. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Araujo (0) vs (2) Gaul
Gaul trying to control but Araujo is working from the bottom.
Gaul stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Araujo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gaul trying to control the position from guard on top but Araujo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaul content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Araujo has locked up a guillotine! Araujo's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gaul is holding on here and Araujo must be using up a lot of energy. Gaul has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Araujo gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
