Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Antony (ranked 2586 p4p, 2534 weight class) and Manus Murphy (ranked 369 p4p, 360 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Antony!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manus Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antony takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Antony stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Antony wants it to stay on the feet.
Murphy clobbers Antony with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Antony misses with a hook
and Murphy counters with a nice uppercut.
Murphy shoots for a takedown but Antony saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Antony lands a glancing blow to the side of Murphy's head.
Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Antony bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Antony misses with a low kick.
Murphy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Antony throws a big shot that misses.
Murphy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Antony defends it nicely.
Mark Antony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manus Murphy.

A punch lands to the side of Antony 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Antony throws a body punch but Murphy moves out of range.
Murphy swings widly with a right hand
and Antony counters with a two punch combo.
Murphy moves away from the strike by Antony.

Murphy gets the takedown into side control.
Murphy controls the position.
Antony is looking to regain half guard here but Murphy keeps moving and retains side control.

Antony tries to improve position but can't.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murphy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Antony knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Murphy advances to full mount.

Murphy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Antony to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Antony shrugs it off.
Antony is wriggling around trying to escape.
Antony wants to hold on but Murphy pushes him away.
Antony knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murphy on the ground.
Murphy prevents Antony from getting the reversal.

Murphy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Antony is looking to escape.
My spies in The Jungle Room inform me that Murphy has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Antony reaches up to try and control the position but Murphy seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Antony rolls and tries to escape and now Murphy has his back!

Manus Murphy dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Murphy dives in and grabs Antony's left leg, looking for a takedown. Antony pushes down on Murphy's head and hops out.
Murphy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Mark Antony has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manus Murphy.
Murphy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Antony tries to avoid it but Murphy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Antony to the ground. Antony escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy misses with a takedown attempt - Antony sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Murphy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Murphy throws a hook but Antony blocks it.
Antony tried to counter with a leg kick but Murphy avoided it.

Antony looks to land a left hand but Murphy moved out of range nicely.
The crowd cheers as Murphy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Antony doesn't seem phased though.
Antony misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mark Antony is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Murphy tries to clinch up.
Antony was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Manus Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Antony pinned against the cage. Antony gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Murphy misses with a low kick.
Murphy shoots in for a double leg but Antony sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Antony throws out a powerful jab.
Manus Murphy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Antony throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Murphy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Antony tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Murphy was well out of range. Poor timing from Antony.
Murphy shoots for a double leg takedown but Antony sprawls well. He's pushed Murphy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Murphy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Antony is fending him off so far but Murphy persists. Nope, Antony circles away and we're back to standing.
Antony tries a head kick but it misses.
Murphy misses with a takedown
and Antony counters with a slapping leg kick.
Antony slaps away a takedown attempt from Murphy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Antony lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Murphy slips a jab from Antony.
A punch combination from Murphy misses.
Antony throws a body shot but no joy.
Murphy throws out a counter right but Antony avoids it with no problem.
A thudding body kick lands there by Antony!
Nice takedown defense from Antony. No joy for Murphy on that attempt.
Murphy is breathing heavily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Murphy.
Antony throws a lazy right hand but Murphy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murphy needs to keep his hands up - Antony had a free shot at his head there.
Antony walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Murphy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Antony swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Murphy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Antony!
Mark Antony decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Manus Murphy was interviewed post fight and said 'WTF??? How did that happen?'.
