Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arto Jarvinen (ranked 761 p4p, 1544 weight class) and David Scott (ranked 110 p4p, 224 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvinen misses with an uppercut.
We've been told by Jarvinen's head coaches at Tappelukerho that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jarvinen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jarvinen throws out the jab.
Scott appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

A nice side step and Scott releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jarvinen misses with a wild body shot.
Jarvinen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scott was well out of range. Poor timing from Jarvinen.
Scott looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Jarvinen.
Scott tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Scott has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Arto Jarvinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Scott.

Scott has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jarvinen uses from the top position.

Scott has his foot on Jarvinen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jarvinen works his way back into a safe position though.
