Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gregon Dome (ranked 3752 p4p, 5932 weight class) and Sanoj Kcotsber (ranked 359 p4p, 449 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gregon Dome!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sanoj Kcotsber!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kcotsber moves into the clinch successfully.
Dome definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dome prevents a takedown attempt there.

Kcotsber gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Dome regains guard.
Kcotsber pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dome is keeping the position for now.
Dome is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dome had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kcotsber defends it easily.
Kcotsber is working Dome over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dome not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kcotsber wants to stand and escape but instead Dome has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dome wants to stand but Kcotsber is controlling his posture from full guard.

Dome drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dome jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dome tries to stand but Kcotsber is controlling from the bottom.
Kcotsber has Dome pulled in close to control his posture.
Kcotsber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dome. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dome wants to get up but he can't break Kcotsber's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dome wants to stand but Kcotsber has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dome preventing the sweep.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Dome takes a swing at Kcotsber's ribcage but misses.
As Dome backs off Kcotsber throws a huge counter combo but Dome manages to avoid it all.
Dome is looking to clinch but Kcotsber is avoiding it.
Dome will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kcotsber dives in and grabs Dome's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dome pushes down on Kcotsber's head and hops out.
Kcotsber slips a jab and a cross from Dome.
Kcotsber misses with a low kick.
Kcotsber fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gregon Dome has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanoj Kcotsber.

Kcotsber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kcotsber slips under a jab.
Kcotsber tries to counter by closing the distance.
Dome misses with a wild combination.
Kcotsber lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kcotsber enables Dome to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kcotsber manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kcotsber pulls Dome in close to prevent any damage.
Dome wants to get up but he can't break Kcotsber's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dome sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kcotsber's guard.

Dome is working for a submission of some sort.
Kcotsber looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Dome is looking for a kimura but Kcotsber is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dome to get the leverage.

Dome is trying to work for a kimura but Kcotsber is defending well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kcotsber manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Dome decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kcotsber slips a jab from Dome.
Dome leaves Kcotsber with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Gregon Dome dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Dome looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Dome is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dome is looking for a kimura here.
Dome is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Dome is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kcotsber is just riding it out for now. Dome eventually gives up the hold.
Dome prevents Kcotsber from improving his position.
Kcotsber wants to get back to his feet.
Dome tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

A big left from Dome misses.
Dome tries to clinch there but Kcotsber circles away.
Kcotsber wants to counter with a clinch but Dome pushes him away.
Dome fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Kcotsber rushes Dome and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dome has had enough of the clinch but Kcotsber keeps him there for the moment.
Kcotsber lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Kcotsber has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dome clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gregon Dome overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dome fending off the submission attempt from Kcotsber.
Dome trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Will Kcotsber go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Kcotsber is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Dome is defending well though. Kcotsber let's go of the attempt for now.
Kcotsber is breathing heavily.
Kcotsber lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Dome hold on?!
Kcotsber controlling well, preventing Dome from escaping the position.
Dome rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kcotsber thows a huge punch but Dome dodges it nicely.

Dome works his way to full guard. Good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dome has a closed guard, preventing Kcotsber from standing up.
Dome is trying to control the position but Kcotsber postures up.
Kcotsber postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kcotsber has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dome is proving hard to escape from.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kcotsber drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dome looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dome looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dome!


Dome wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kcotsber, who protects the arm well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Sanoj Kcotsber will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Kcotsber throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dome lands with a nice body punch.
Gregon Dome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kcotsber drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dome is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dome is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dome wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kcotsber is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Kcotsber controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kcotsber takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Kcotsber won't allow Dome to sweep him here.
Kcotsber wants to pass the guard but Dome is keeping the position.

Dome has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kcotsber should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dome has tightened it up now! Kcotsber should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
