Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chase Volkman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pan Adams!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Adams as he avoids it easily.
Adams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Adams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Volkman.
Adams leaves Volkman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chase Volkman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Adams shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Volkman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Volkman can't do much from the bottom here.
Volkman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkman wants to control but Adams postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Chase Volkman has been cut.
Volkman wants to control but Adams postures up.

Volkman is rocked!
Adams controls the position.
Adams creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Adams cracks Volkman with a big right hand but Volkman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Volkman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adams tries to move into full mount but can't pass Volkman's legs.
Volkman seems to have got his legs back now.
Volkman takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Volkman is looking for a sweep.

Adams scores with a couple of short elbows.

Adams has an Americana. Volkman didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Adams is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Adams hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
