Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damien Johnson (ranked 2433 p4p, 24551 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson feints and as Salvacion raises his hands in defense, Johnson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Johnson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Johnson controls from within his opponent's guard.
Salvacion is trying to control the position but Johnson postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Salvacion knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
