Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yusef Kahn (ranked 23842 p4p, 4260 weight class) and Kendall Boone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boone has chosen "This Fire" Killswitch Engage as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Kahn.

Boone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Boone working the ground and pound but Kahn is defending the strikes.
Kahn tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
You can see the frustration on Kahn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kahn tries to bench press Boone off him but Boone keeps the position.

Boone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kahn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Boone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kahn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Boone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kahn keeps working.
Boone has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Boone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kahn is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kahn and Boone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kahn is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Boone's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Boone has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kahn defend it? Boone steps over the head and cranks it - Kahn is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boone!
