Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deniz Uzun (ranked 4264 p4p, 4337 weight class) and Facundo Vicuna (ranked 421 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Facundo Vicuna!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzun throws a right and a left that Vicuna avoids nicely.
Vicuna showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Uzun.

Vicuna throws a left that rocks Uzun and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vicuna dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Uzun regain composure!

Uzun is rocked!

It looks like Deniz Uzun has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Uzun is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vicuna has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Oh Uzun is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vicuna has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Uzun seems to have got his legs back now.
Uzun leaves Vicuna with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Uzun swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Sloppy strikes from Vicuna. Those never looked like landing.
Uzun tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vicuna was well out of range. Poor timing from Uzun.
Vicuna is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Uzun lands a glancing blow to the side of Vicuna's head.

Donk. Uzun catches Vicuna right on the button with a cross.
Vicuna has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vicuna there as he acknowledges the shot.

Vicuna fails to land with a series of punches.
It looked like Uzun was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vicuna.
Deniz Uzun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Vicuna lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uzun circles away quickly and effectively.

Vicuna manages to break the clinch.

Uzun scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Vicuna is still on wobbly legs! Can Uzun finish him?
Uzun throws a nice looking combination but Vicuna bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vicuna seems to have recovered his senses.
Uzun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vicuna moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Uzun.
Vicuna darts in looking for a takedown but Uzun gets double underhooks and turns Vicuna into the cage.

Uzun cracks Vicuna with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Vicuna tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Uzun pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Vicuna is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
