The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok shoots in for a takedown but Cartwright shows good takedown defense.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cartwright! But no joy.
Cartwright throws a shot to the body.
Cartwright sizes up Lothbrok with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cartwright should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Lothbrok definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lothbrok. Cartwright does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ragnar Lothbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A punch lands to the side of Lothbrok 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cartwright has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Cartwright connects with a single shot there.
Cartwright uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lothbrok.
Cartwright throws out a counter right but Lothbrok avoids it with no problem.
Lothbrok throws a body punch but Cartwright moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lothbrok is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cartwright is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cartwright wants to stand but Lothbrok is controlling his posture from full guard.

Lothbrok looking for a guillotine here but Cartwright defends easily.

Cartwright wants to get up but he can't break Lothbrok's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lothbrok is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cartwright is aware though and is defending well.
Cartwright must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lothbrok has his feet on Cartwright's thighs here. He's pushed Cartwright off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cartwright screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
