Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Altaf Hussain (ranked 3455 p4p, 2931 weight class) and Axl Cailean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Altaf Hussain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Axl Cailean!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussain tries to clinch there but Cailean circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Cailean. That snapped Hussain's head back.
A low kick lands for Cailean.
Cailean circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hussain moves to clinch but Cailean breaks away
and Cailean counters with a nice leg kick.
Hussain tries to clinch but Cailean moves out of range.
Hussain closes the distance looking to clinch
and Cailean counters with a thumping low kick.
Hussain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hussain darts in trying to clinch
and Cailean counters with a good low kick that Hussain was not able to check.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cailean gets control of Hussain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cailean will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cailean bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hussain's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cailean controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Cailean's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Cailean is continuing to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cailean passes Hussain's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cailean sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Hussain knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cailean on the ground.
Hussain is looking to get back to is feet but Cailean passes into side control.

Cailean is working to tighten his grip on Hussain's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hussain has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cailean is really squeezing tight and eventually Hussain passes out! Cailean breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
