The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivkov avoids the body shot from Pleateu.
Pleateu walks into a jab.
Ivkov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ivkov throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ivkov throws a series of punches but Pleateu avoids them all with ease.
Pleateu wants to counter the offense by Ivkov and move into the clinch position.
Ivkov throws a poor cross that misses
and Pleateu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ivkov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ivkov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ivkov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Room in the buildup to the fight.
Pleateu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ivkov counters with a crisp one two that drops Pleateu! Ivkov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pleateu to his feet! Pleateu is in big trouble!
Pleateu is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pleateu walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Pleateu limp body while Ivkov jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aleksandar Ivkov!
