Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Druff (ranked 4152 p4p, 5348 weight class) and Jakobe Wallace (ranked 519 p4p, 588 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Druff defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wallace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A jab from Wallace does it's job there.
Druff jabs Wallace to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Wallace looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Druff is fending him off so far but Wallace persists. Nope, Druff circles away and we're back to standing.

Wallace fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Druff avoids it really well and circles away.
Druff stuns Wallace with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Druff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Druff bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wallace's guard.

Druff looks to land a right hand but Wallace moved out of range.
Wallace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Druff tries to avoid it but Wallace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Druff to the ground. Druff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Druff lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Druff uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
