The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Joao Cajo Branca has been cut.
Branca throws a right and a left that Sparxx avoids nicely.

The fighters circle momentarily. Branca darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Sparxx counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've been informed that Branca has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Sparxx chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Branca can pounce on him.

Branca tries to bum rush Sparxx with a series of wild strikes but Sparxx uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Joao Cajo Branca's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
