Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Marco Salamanca (ranked 21928 p4p, 12173 weight class) and Australian RooMan (ranked 518 p4p, 530 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Salamanca might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Superstar Cypress Hill. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 3, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Salamanca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Australian RooMan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RooMan misses with a wild combination.
Salamanca half committed to a counter leg kick.
Salamanca has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Far-Q Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
RooMan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Salamanca eats them both and turns towards RooMan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
RooMan scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
RooMan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
RooMan throws a jab but it's blocked by Salamanca.
RooMan works the jab nicely.
Australian RooMan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from RooMan misses.
RooMan swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Salamanca counters with a slapping leg kick.
RooMan throws a shot from downtown. Salamanca moves away and avoids it.
Salamanca throws a big counter combination but RooMan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
RooMan stalks Salamanca and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Salamanca's face. Salamanca staggers backwards, shaken.
Salamanca smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Australian RooMan has been cut.
Salamanca lands with a shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
RooMan slips under a jab from Salamanca.
A jab from RooMan misses.
RooMan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
RooMan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
RooMan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Salamanca was well out of range. Poor timing from RooMan.
Salamanca is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
RooMan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A nice inside leg kick there by Salamanca. That's going to slow RooMan down.
The crowd cheers as Salamanca lands an impressive looking overhand right. RooMan doesn't seem phased though.

RooMan throws a hook but Salamanca blocks it.
RooMan looks to land a left hand but Salamanca moved out of range nicely.
RooMan throws a right hand that misses
and RooMan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

A nice leg kick lands there from Salamanca.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

RooMan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Salamanca takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
RooMan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salamanca circles away quickly and effectively.
An attempted straight right counter from Salamanca misses the target.
RooMan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Salamanca's hands.
RooMan moves away from the strike by Salamanca.
It seemed like RooMan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
RooMan misses with a wild combination.
Salamanca is looking to counter punch.
RooMan connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Salamanca staggers RooMan with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! RooMan looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Salamanca is victorious!
