Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Gunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sota Sankari!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankari doesn't manage to clinch there - Gunn circles away.
Sankari wants to clinch
and Gunn makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sankari really felt that one!
Gunn connects with a body shot.
Sankari takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Sankari takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Gunn closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Sankari crashing to the mat! Sankari uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
It looks like Sota Sankari has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gunn lands a leg kick that knocks Sankari off balance momentarily.
Gunn scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Sankari beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Sankari is rocked!
Sankari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gunn cracks Sankari with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tommy Gunn!
