Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zoo Ten (ranked 22577 p4p, 24979 weight class) and Roscoe Regan (ranked 520 p4p, 487 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ten manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Regan on his heels. He'll look to pass Regan's guard now, I'm sure.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Regan can do anything to dispel that myth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ten connects with a nice short shot to Regan's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ten seems to be working for a kimura but Regan defends the submission attempt.

Regan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ten is working away from the top position though.
Ten has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Regan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ten haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ten lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
