Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Kersikov (ranked 23103 p4p, 4150 weight class) and Bloodsport Strongman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dr Peacock & Dj Panda - It's a Dream. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aleksander Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bloodsport Strongman!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strongman shoots in looking for a takedown but Kersikov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Strongman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kersikov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Bloodsport Strongman has been cut.
Kersikov drops Strongman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Strongman looks back up at him and smiles so Kersikov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Strongman is rocked!
Kersikov stuffs the takedown attempt from Strongman. Strongman gets slowly back to his feet.
Strongman is still on wobbly legs! Can Kersikov finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Kersikov engages and cracks Strongman with a massive lead left hook - Strongman tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Kersikov is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aleksander Kersikov!
