Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ray Hoola (ranked 4326 p4p, 4594 weight class) and Max Jared (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoola comes to the cage accompanied by Alvin & The Chipmunks - Christmas song. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Ray Hoola has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jared. Hoola does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jared keeps the fight on the outside.
Hoola wants to clinch up but Jared keeps it at a distance.
Hoola clinches up with Jared and pushes him back against the cage.

Jared wants the takedown. Hoola is fighting it off but Jared persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hoola's guard against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jared is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ray Hoola will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Jared takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hoola tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jared manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hoola has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jared is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hoola.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hoola, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
