Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saint Marcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sakari Ostermalm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos comes into the arena with Stemm - Face the Pain blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ostermalm tries to avoid it but Marcos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ostermalm to the ground. Ostermalm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Marcos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marcos won't allow Ostermalm to sweep him here.

Marcos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marcos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
You can see the frustration on Ostermalm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ostermalm is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Marcos is staying active.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ostermalm might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Marcos kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Marcos goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ostermalm has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marcos but great work by Ostermalm.

Marcos is looking for a kimura but Ostermalm is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Marcos to get the leverage.
Ostermalm is trying to escape back to his feet but Marcos uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Marcos seems to be working for a kimura but Ostermalm defends the submission attempt.
Ostermalm tries to roll over but Marcos keeps him under control.

Marcos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ostermalm, who protects the arm well.

Ostermalm manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marcos's best efforts.
Marcos landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Marcos is working for a submission of some sort.
Ostermalm is looking for a sweep. Marcos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saint Marcos dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Marcos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ostermalm's waist but Ostermalm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marcos off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saint Marcos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ostermalm displaying some good clinch control by pressing Marcos up against the cage.
Ostermalm pulls guard.
Ostermalm kicks Marcos off and gets to his feet.
Ostermalm takes one to the side of the head.
Ostermalm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Marcos to the mat! Marcos manages to get full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ostermalm slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Ostermalm is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Marcos has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ostermalm is looking to defend but Marcos has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ostermalm! Marcos pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ostermalm taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Saint Marcos!
