The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Millwater is defended easily by Leonidas .
Leonidas cracks Millwater with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Millwater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Leonidas tries to avoid it but Millwater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Leonidas to the ground. Leonidas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Leonidas throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Leonidas is taking a breather. Millwater says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Leonidas is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Leonidas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Millwater is just riding it out for now. Leonidas eventually gives up the hold.
Millwater is looking for a sweep. Leonidas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Millwater. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Leonidas has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Millwater has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Leonidas finds it's way round the side to connect with Millwater's head.
Leonidas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Millwaters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Millwater tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leonidas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

BOOM! Leonidas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Millwater. Millwater tries to recover but Leonidas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Millwater lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
