The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shortman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wilson was covering up waiting for the punch and Shortman finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shortman drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wilson dives on top into guard.

Wilson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shortman's head.

It looks like James Shortman has been cut.
