The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hisoka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Shigaraki sprawls well initially but Hisoka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Hisoka is working for a submission of some sort.
Hisoka prevents Shigaraki from improving his position.
Hisoka lands strikes from half guard.

Hisoka is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shigaraki is not content to let Hisoka control the position.
Shigaraki is looking to control Hisoka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shigaraki avoid being mounted?

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Shigaraki is staying active underneath Hisoka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Hisoka scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Shigaraki moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Shigaraki is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Hisoka has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Shigaraki is proving hard to escape from.

Shigaraki wants to sweep here but Hisoka controlling him for the moment.

Kurosaki Hisoka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Hisoka has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shigaraki to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hisoka is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shigaraki pulls down on the head and he's put Hisoka to sleep! This one is all over!
