Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craze Janluca (ranked 3102 p4p, 4531 weight class) and Alexandro Uson Villaruz (ranked 383 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villaruz shoots for a double leg takedown but Janluca sprawls well. He's pushed Villaruz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Janluca has taken the fight to the clinch.

Janluca has picked Villaruz up - he's going for a ride! Janluca dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Villaruz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Janluca's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Janluca's back!

Janluca is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Villaruz off. It looks like it's working - Villaruz slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Janluca displaying calm under pressure there.

Janluca throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Villaruz was covering up waiting for the punch and Janluca finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Janluca got a little sloppy there for a moment and Villaruz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Janluca has managed to get both his arms back between Villaruz's legs - danger averted.

Janluca jumps guard and drags Villaruz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Villaruz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Villaruz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Janluca pulls his leg out and moves away.

Janluca changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Villaruz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Villaruz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Villaruz has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Janluca. Oh but Villaruz has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Janluca goes limp - he's gone! Villaruz jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
