The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Shart is looking for a sweep.
Hlervu tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Shart sneaks back into half guard.

Hlervu has control of Shart's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Shart regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Shart is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shart escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hlervu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Shart is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hlervu defends well.

Hlervu is fighting to break Shart's control of his arms but Shart is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Hlervu wants to control from the top but Shart keeps moving.

Hlervu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hlervu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hlervu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shart sees it coming and defends easily.
Shart wants to control but Hlervu is keeping busy.
Hlervu is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Shart is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
