Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Greg Menace (ranked 3080 p4p, 3097 weight class) and Ace Johnson (ranked 167 p4p, 169 weight class). Menace's entrance music is Menace. A fine choice. Johnson has chosen Is This What You Wanted?" by Leonard Cohen as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menace closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Menace pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Menace needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there.
Johnson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Menace doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Johnson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Menace feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Menace changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Johnson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Johnson steps in with a hook that catches Menace right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Johnson follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Menace looks absolutely devastated.

Our winner, Ace Johnson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
