Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaco Camden (ranked 5222 p4p, 4358 weight class) and Gordon Ariitaia (ranked 585 p4p, 533 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Some wild striking there from Camden.
Camden misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ariitaia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Camden fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Camden throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Ariitaia stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Camden follows into mount!

Ariitaia is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Camden stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Ariitaia is still on wobbly legs! Can Camden finish him?

Camden throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Camden misses with a two punch combination.
Camden looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Camden finds Ariitaia's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Ariitaia flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Camden lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Ariitaia will be OK.
