PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Hood (ranked 4237 p4p, 18800 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 511 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 43 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrzewski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hood as he jumps to the side.
Zakrzewski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A left lands for Hood.
Hood lands with a nice combination. Zakrzewski backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut.
Hood throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hood feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zakrzewskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hood clinches up against the cage.
Hood changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zakrzewski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hood misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hood's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zakrzewski under the eye.
Zakrzewski moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hood pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Zakrzewski back to the cage. Hood follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Zakrzewski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hood defends it nicely.

Shannon Hood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof Zakrzewski.

Zakrzewski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hood defends it easily.

Zakrzewski looking for a triangle here. Hood is fighting it but it looks tight! Zakrzewski pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hood is tapping out - this one is all over!
