The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuhren lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Blikstein connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Blikstein throws a shot from downtown. Fuhren moves away and avoids it.

We've been hearing reports that Blikstein has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Blikstein appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Blikstein seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fuhren crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blikstein - the referee stops the clock and Fuhren gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blikstein. Fuhren manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Blikstein feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fuhren sprawling to the canvas! Fuhren rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Blikstein finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blikstein is stalking Fuhren. Fuhren circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Blikstein, and it's lights out! Fuhren really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
